The dissolved air flotation machine uses a new type of efficient dissolved air equipment - microbubble generator, which replaces the traditional air induction equipment to dissolve air into the water, and installs several inclined tube groups in the air flotation area, including the box, slag scraper, and screw discharge machine to form a complete air flotation water purification device. Theoretically speaking, the treatment effect of air flotation is not directly related to the residence time, but is only related to the air flotation area. If the air flotation area with water depth H is reduced to water depth H/10, then the air flotation distance and residence time will be reduced by 10 times. This is the famous 'shallow pool theory'. The purpose of adding inclined tubes in the air flotation area is to increase the air flotation area, greatly reduce the Reynolds coefficient, avoid air flotation in a turbulent flow state, create a good laminar flow state, and achieve the effect of shallow air flotation.
In the same way, when the density of suspended matter is greater than 1, due to the installation of the inclined tube group, a shallow pool sedimentation effect will occur, so that the sedimentation occurs under turbulent flow conditions. Pollutants with large particle sizes and large specific gravity that are not easy to float will be concentrated in the mud collection area to achieve the purpose of water purification [1].
