1. Equipment introduction
As a measure to improve water quality in tap water plants, the addition of powdered activated carbon has the characteristics of flexible operation, obvious treatment effects, and low investment and operating costs. It is especially suitable for improving the water quality of tap water plants that treat source water with intermittent and sudden organic pollution. The powdered activated carbon dosing device is an independent and complete powdered activated carbon application device based on the theory of powdered activated carbon suspension adsorption technology. We use dry dosing technology based on the unstable quality of powdered carbon in China. The system adopts high-speed jet forced dispersion technology: relying on high-speed water flow energy and shear force, powdered activated carbon with self-agglomeration characteristics is forcibly dispersed, increasing its specific surface area and improving the use efficiency of activated carbon;

The powdered activated carbon dosing device is mainly composed of powdered carbon storage, online quantitative preparation, online quantitative dosing and forced diffusion, and automatic control systems based on the application scale and usage requirements. According to the storage method of powdered carbon, it can be divided into manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic storage methods. In addition to powder storage, the powdered activated carbon dosing device is divided into manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic. The rest of the equipment, including quantitative transportation, quantitative preparation, quantitative dosing, etc., adopts fully automatic operation mode to ensure the stable operation of the entire system and achieve good pollution removal effects.
Manual method: generally only suitable for water plants with a water treatment capacity of 30,000 tons/day, which is highly labor intensive and requires low investment;
Semi-automatic method: generally unpacked and prepared in batches, suitable for water plants with a daily processing capacity of 200,000 tons/day, occupying a large area and requiring moderate investment;
Fully automatic method: Storage is carried out by external powder transport trucks and powder storage warehouses. There is no need to unpack in the factory. It is easy to realize overall automatic control and has a good operating environment, but the investment is relatively large;
